This past week, New York magazine published a powerful expose on sexual assault, focused on more than thirty women that were victimized by the comedian, Bill Cosby. At a time when he was playing the wholesome family man, Cliff Huxtible on one of television’s most popular series, Cosby was a serial manipulator; coercing women, many women, with his celebrity. After rendering them compliant with powerful drugs, he forced himself sexually on them, when they were unable to resist. Consent was never an issue. Consent was never part of Cosby’s equation.
